We have had many requests for information on careers after the MBA so I would like to compile a list of helpful tips for new graduates and anyone in the market for a new job. If you have advice please add it to this thread and I will update the list below.
1. Networking is very important. You never know where you might meet people who can help you out with your career. Join a club or organization and just start talking to people.
2. Make use of Internet job sites like Monster, Hotjobs, Careerbuilder etc. A lot of very good jobs are posted on these sites and companies will also search for resumes off their databases. Sometimes they find you before you find them.
