So what software is everyone out there using for business these days. Does it do it's job? What would you you like to see improved?

So what software is everyone out there using for business these days.
I don't use any fancy software; just email. Occasionally MS Word, but I intend to replace it with OpenOffice or StarOffice. MS Office Suite is over-built and over-priced.

What would you you like to see improved?
More security and reliability. Also ideally, it should anticipate various problems that can arise. Number of software applications should become service software rather than stand alone. For example, sale automation software by http://www.salesforce.com/. Despite the fact that the internet still has its weakness, this type of applications are so much more robust and reliable than traditional PC applications.
