If you have lots of affiliate links on your website, does the page rank go down or the serp

decrease?

Google seems to change its pagerank calculation constantly so I couldn't say. I think the guys over at www.sitepoint.com might know. I'm of the opinion that content is king. If you build a lot of content on your site then you'll have a good chance of moving up in the ranks.
