As the title states, What is your Job Title?
My current job title is either Network Admin or Senior Consultant. I jokingly refer to my position as IT Guy 3.

In my company, they call the role I.T. Specialist. It is very similar to the System Administrator position.

i have am playing a role of a techhnical analyst. however my designation is still software engineer. this is how it works here. i have few managerial responsibilities too.
I guess this might harm my chances if I apply to best b-schools. this would be looking at some managerial experience and "technical analyst" or "software engg" doesnt do me any good!!

Before I started an MBA program as a mature student, I was director of presale activity for a major corporation. By the time I graduated, I was Associate Vice President, responsible for Business and Market Strategy. Within three weeks of graduation, I started my own company in partnership with a fellow graduate. Today (20 months later), I am AVP for business development at the corporation, president of my own company, and just four months away from a big product launch. Despite being in my 40s, the MBA made a big difference.
