Start up a company/business in a country where living expense and labor force is relatively cheap. Has anyone thought about that or anyone's doing it already? Like moving to India, hire a couple of people and start up a business/company(computer software, etc)? I think this is a feasible idea, and ... I actually think some people are already doing it. Anyone here doing something like that?

It's definitely being done. I think a key is having some familiarity with that country's customs and culture.

Also, I know there is talk (at least amongst one of my networking groups in Northern VA that consists of a lot of IT type professionals) that not all the costs of outsourcing are being captured and sometimes it's cheaper to do that work in the States than to outsource it. Admittedly, I didn't follow up as their company goings on are none of my business, but it *might* be the beginning of a new trend towards bringing some previously outsourced work back to the higher-cost countries.

Does INDIAN Government allow foreign nationals setup a company(100% owned)?

Like anything else. If it can be done, it is. I think there is still a lot of money to be made there, exspecially in IT and electronically transmittable software. The problem is a lot of big companies have already set up and done the same thing.

You will need a new spin.... Something to give you an edge. Then you will need to be able to sell it to get start up capital.
