Anyone here use Job Search Engines?

I've always thought of these as blackholes similar to state job posting boards. I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with these or do you think it is all just a scam for ad revenue?

... do you think it is all just a scam for ad revenue?I don't think they are scam, but I do think that their fundamental design is kind of old and needs to be re-designed. I heard something about integrating a social networking software(like http://www.friendster.com/); I actually do not think that simple integration would work, but someone may come up with a model that has social networking features and work with job search well somehow.

Remodeling cycle in IT industry is really short, and I personally think that job search sites are at the point which they need to remodel.
