Help start a business

Hi to all of you guys,
Here is my first post i hope you will help me. i wanted to start up a small business of any kind but I don’t have an idea where to start. Will please help me or email me coz I’m willing to invest.

Figure out what you can do better than anyone else- and make that your core competency.
Use the core competency to fill a need in a market.

In English- that means if you do marketing well- go searching for a product that need effective marketing to be successful. If you do logistics well- start a logistics company with a specialization that you see exists but no one has adressed yet. What you could also do is find like minded partners to go in with different core competencies- maybe you're a sales person, and she has designed a product that you think you could sell. Go into busieness with her.
