http://www.there.com/ is a virtual world emulating the real world. It's like a game, Massive Multi Player Game, but not quite. Massive Multi Player Game typically emulates a fantasy world, but http://www.there.com/ emulates the real world, our world. Technology they are developing is really cool because it has great potential of taking the wire/wireless communication to the next level. Not just chat and email but meet and talk to people just like you meet and talk to people in the real world. The company is actually ... not making any money yet. We don't know what their business model is.
